It's a beautiful sunny day here, but boy is it cold and the mercury is dropping again!
I decided it was a good day to stay indoors and work on another project for you to try.
Since it seems that everyone has extra t-shirts and reusable shopping bags are here to stay (yay!), I thought I'd write up instructions for a basic tote bag from a t-shirt.
I can't seem to write up directions without adding little extra bits of nice to know information! This project has some hints about popular hem types. These are applicable to pretty much anything that is hemmed - except really sheer materials. Sheer materials require some extra care when working with. (One of the reasons I have chosen to not offer bridal wear.)

These bags could be made out of almost any materials - you're not limited to only t-shirts. Let your imagination go and have fun with it!
